Q: Why record my story onto audio CD? Why not write it down?
A:Your voice carries your emotion. It is so much more evocative than mere words or photographs - your voice is alive! Remember, it's not only what we say but how we tell a story that matters! A book contains only words, this at best only half the story. And apart from that writing is a long, and complex process compared to being interviewed. Q: Is my life interesting enough? A: As parents we might well ask ourselves this question. But as Children we are forever wondering what life has been like for our parents, what were their thoughts and experiences! Even though we think we know our parents well, most of us never find the time to really sit down and talk. In our hectic lives we barely find time to relay what happened in a day, much less a lifetime! The only thing sure in life is that one day your parents or you won't be around anymore to impart those stories. Q: Do I have to tell my whole life story? A: No. You tell only as much as you want. You could make this a record of how you met your partner, maybe even narrate it together! Or perhaps you can leave your children a collection of stories specifically from their childhood! There are so many ways to use our service - with our help you will decide the story that is right! The choice is entirely yours. |
